Mga katoto sa Ph101 (Pilosopiya ng Tao), mangyaring asikasuhin ang sumusonod na paunawa mula sa Kagawaran ng Pilosopiya:
Dear Ph 101 students,
As in previous years, Ph 101 students should be in the same section for their Ph 102, unless there is a conflict of schedule with their major subject, major elective, or minor elective.
To address problems encountered in the past, the Registrar’s Office has agreed to pre-enlist all students in the same Ph 102 section as their current Ph 101 by default. Furthermore, students who inform their teacher of a conflict of schedule and who can be accommodated in another one of the same teacher's sections will be pre-enlisted in that alternative section.
If a student has a conflict of schedule but cannot be accommodated in another section of the same teacher, the student will be pre-enlisted in their original section, but will be allowed to transfer to another section under a different teacher during the load revision period.
An online survey form (bit.ly/PH102_2020) is to be disseminated to Ph 101 students for them to indicate whether they can stay in their original Ph 101 section, or need to move to a different section.
All students have to go through this survey form, since this serves the following purposes:
It ensures that they are informed of the Ph 102 pre-enlistment procedures, and;
It will allow the Philosophy Department to collect information on how many students need to move to another teacher.
Students are asked to fill up this form to the best of their knowledge even if they are not yet able to confirm the schedule of their other classes at the moment, and even if their teacher is only teaching one section.
Please note the following:
Accomplish the online survey form (bit.ly/PH102_2020) as soon as possible. The deadline for students to accomplish the online survey is December 2, 11:59pm. (It would require them to check AISIS and/or with their department to see if they have conflicts of schedule.)
Students will be asked to sign a pre-enlistment list that indicates whether they are staying in their original section or need to move to another section.
Best,
The Department of Philosophy
